We are looking for a high-performing and influential individual contributor who leads by example, mentor’s junior engineers, consistently interfaces with tech leadership in the local organization, takes ownership of complex and vaguely defined projects, and demonstrates emerging team leadership skills based on current initiatives.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design and develop complex software systems and services, applying system design, API design, and data modeling techniques
- Lead the implementation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions across multiple domains or platforms
- Track record of identifying problems, implementing solutions and delivering complex projects in distributed systems or databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, ensuring responsible and effective use of AI technologies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, code quality, and system performance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
- 3+ years of professional backend software development experience in an object‑oriented language (e.g., Java, Python, or similar)
- Demonstrated ownership of services, multi-service architectures, or domain solutions at an organizational level
- Proven expertise in system design, API development, and data modeling for distributed systems
- Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products
