Tawajood is looking for a talented Android Developer to join our growing engineering team and build high-quality native Android applications across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
-Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
-Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers.
-Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and external services.
-Integrate Firebase, Pusher, Payment Gateways, and SMS/OTP services.
-Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following Android best practices.
-Debug, optimize application performance, and improve user experience.
-Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Requirements:
-2–3 years of experience in native Android development.
-Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
-Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
-Good understanding of MVVM architecture.
-Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
-Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.).
-Experience with Pusher for real-time chat and notifications.
-Experience integrating Payment Gateways.
-Experience integrating SMS/OTP services.
-Familiarity with Git and version control.
-Strong understanding of Android architecture, application lifecycle, and modern development best practices.
-Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
